MACL host a Blood Donation Camp 

Velana International Airport, 31 October 2023 – Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) in collaboration with Maldives Blood Services hosted a blood donation camp.
This event is MACL’s commitment to corporate social responsibility. The aim of the camp was to assist thalassemia patients by meeting their blood supply needs while concurrently increasing awareness among MACL staff all airport employees.   
A total of 58 staff members enthusiastically participated in the event.  
The camp was inaugurated by Deputy Managing Director, Ibrahim Thoha. During the inaugural speech, Thoha emphasized the significance of blood donation, highlighting its dual impact of aiding thalassemia children and benefiting the donors themselves, as recently demonstrated by the research. He encourages everyone to recognize the importance of this noble cause and lend helping the thalassemia patients.

By extending support to those in need, MACL strengthens its role as a vital contributor to the community, while also championing an ethos of inclusivity and accessibility.
